Project overview

This food-and-bakery website project demonstrates how a local home bakery can turn a fragmented digital presence into a clear customer journey that supports weekly consumer orders, office relationships, gifting, referrals, and repeat business.

The problem

Good products still need a clear path to the order.

TWICE needed one reliable destination that could explain what it sells, lead with its flagship cinnamon rolls, communicate the weekly order window, establish trust, and route different buyers toward the correct next step.

Customers needed answers about pricing, delivery area, fulfillment timing, Square checkout, office orders, gifting, and allergens. A family ordering a weekend dozen, an office manager evaluating a recurring delivery, and someone sending a thoughtful gift should not be forced through the same generic path.

Design strategy

Homemade warmth with professional clarity.

The visual system uses warm bakery photography, deep brown and cream tones, editorial headings, and generous spacing to communicate care without drifting into trend-driven bakery branding.

The copy leads with practical facts, including pricing, Greater Houston delivery, the weekly deadline, and the fulfillment process. The CTA structure separates the primary consumer path from higher-value business paths.

Customer journey

Six decisions, made easier.

01

Recognize the flagship

Visitors see homemade cinnamon rolls, the $35 dozen price, and the Greater Houston delivery promise.

02

Understand the rhythm

The order window and How Ordering Works section explain the weekly process and fulfillment timing.

03

Explore the right offer

Customers can browse the menu, view the weekly feature, or choose an office or gifting path.

04

Build confidence

Reviews, founder story, contact information, and Cottage Food disclosures establish credibility.

05

Resolve questions

The FAQ addresses delivery area, storage, reheating, allergens, and fulfillment.

06

Take the next step

The customer completes a Square order, starts an office path, or submits the right inquiry.

The solution for the customer

One reliable place to decide and order.

Customers can understand the menu, price, order window, local delivery model, and available service paths without waiting for a manual response.

A first-time buyer can determine fit, understand the process, review proof from other customers, and take action with confidence.

The solution for the business owner

More than an online menu.

For TWICE, the website works as a sales asset, operating guide, and credibility layer.

  • Standardizes the weekly order process
  • Answers recurring delivery and fulfillment questions
  • Routes consumer, office, and gifting buyers separately
  • Creates a central source of truth for campaigns and referrals
  • Supports Square checkout and inquiry capture
  • Reduces dependence on social media alone

How the website makes business easier

Less explaining. Better orders.

The TWICE Baked Goods website communicates the value of the product before a conversation, gives social and email campaigns a consistent destination, supports B2B outreach with dedicated office and gifting paths, and makes referrals easier to share.

It reduces the number of repetitive questions Jordan and Tomitra must answer manually while creating a reusable food-and-bakery website pattern for future Summit projects.
